How to Use Game Center
Step 1: Download the Game Center app
To use Game Center, you will need to download the Game Center app from the App Store. Open up the App Store and search for “Game Center”. Once you have found it, click the download button to download the app. The app is free and only takes a few moments to download.
Step 2: Sign Up
Once the app has downloaded, you will need to create a Game Center account in order to use it. Open the Game Center app and click the “Sign Up” button. You will be asked to provide some basic information, including your name, email address, birth date and gender. You will also need to create a username and password. Once all of the required information has been filled out, click the “Sign Up” button.
Step 3: Connect to Friends
One of the best features of Game Center is the ability to connect with your friends. Open the Game Center app and click the “Friends” tab at the bottom of the screen. You will then be prompted to either sign in with your Facebook account or enter the email address of the people you want to connect with. Once you have connected with your friends, you can see their status, send messages or challenge them to games.
Step 4: Browse Games
Game Center is home to thousands of games, and you can browse them by clicking on the “Games” tab at the bottom of the screen. You can sort through the games by genre, platform or newest to oldest. You can also search for games by name or keyword. Once you have found a game that you would like to play, click the “Download” button to begin downloading the game.
Step 5: Play Games
Once the game has finished downloading, you can launch it by clicking on the “Play” button. You can also open the Game Center app and click the “My Games” tab at the bottom of the screen to view all of the games you have downloaded. To launch a game, just click on the game’s icon and the game will open. You can also click the “Leaderboard” tab to see how you compare to your friends.
Step 6: Invite Friends
If you are playing a game with your friends, you can easily invite them to join you by clicking the “Invite” button in Game Center. This will open up a message window where you can enter the email address of the person you are trying to invite. Once you have entered the email address, just click the “Send Invite” button and the person will be invited to play the game with you.
Step 7: Earn Achievements
Many games in Game Center feature achievements that you can earn for completing certain tasks or levels. To view your achievements, open the Game Center app and click the “My Achievements” tab at the bottom of the screen. Here you will be able to view all of the achievements you have earned in the games you have played.
Step 8: Use Game Center on the Web
Game Center also has a web version that you can access through your web browser. Just go to gamecenter.apple.com and sign in with your Game Center username and password. From here you can view your achievements, invite friends to games, browse games and more.
Step 9: Set up Family Sharing
If you have family members who also have Game Center accounts, you can set up Family Sharing to access each other’s games and achievements. To do this, open the Game Center app and click on the “Family Sharing” tab at the bottom of the screen. Here you will be able to add your family members and set up the permissions for each one.
Step 10: Enjoy!
