How to Create a Kahoot
Kahoot is an interactive gaming platform used by teachers and businesses to engage in collaborative team building activities. It can also be used by individuals to have fun while learning. This step-by-step guide will walk you through the process of creating a Kahoot, from start to finish.
Step 1: Sign Up/Sign In to Your Account
The first step in creating a Kahoot is to sign up for an account. You can do this by going to the official website, kahoot.com, and clicking the Sign Up button in the top right-hand corner. Once you’re signed up, you can then proceed with creating your own Kahoot!
If you already have an existing account, you can simply sign in by clicking the Sign In button and entering your username and password.
Step 2: Create a New Kahoot
Once you’re signed in to your account, you can now create your own Kahoot. You can do this by clicking on the ‘Create’ tab and selecting ‘New Kahoot’. You’ll then be directed to a page where you can enter your Kahoot’s title, description and tags.
Step 3: Add Questions and Answers
Once you’ve created your Kahoot, it’s time to add questions and answers. You can do this by clicking on the ‘Question Editor’ tab. Here, you can add multiple choice, true/false, text and image questions by typing in the text box and adding images if necessary. You can also add answers for each question by typing in the answer field.
Step 4: Set Up Options
Once you’ve added your questions and answers, you’ll need to set up the Kahoot’s options. You can do this by clicking on the ‘Game Options’ tab. Here, you can select how many questions you want the Kahoot to have and how long each question should last. You can also choose to have a team or individual Kahoot.
Step 5: Preview and Finish
Once you’ve set up the questions and options, you can preview your Kahoot by clicking on the ‘Preview’ tab. Here, you’ll be able to view a simulated version of the Kahoot to ensure that everything is in order. Once you’re satisfied with the preview, you can click the ‘Finish’ button to save your Kahoot.
Step 6: Share Your Kahoot
Once your Kahoot has been created, you can now share it with others. You can do this by clicking on the ‘Share’ tab and selecting the method you want to use to share your Kahoot. You can share the Kahoot via email, SMS, Facebook, Twitter, or by generating a shareable link.
